      NASHVILLE, Tenn. (BP)--Drummer Joel Scoggins and fellow members of the Christian band Never Abandoned lead worship during the Baptist Press Student Journalism Conference, attended by 150 collegiate media students Oct. 10-12 in Nashville.
      Also performing at the conference were Rocketown Recording artist Ginny Owens, Franklin, Tenn. based artist Brian Robison, and Downhere, a Christian band from Canada.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (BP)--Gary Fong, director of editorial graphics technology for the San Francisco Chronicle, left, critiques the photography of Rocky Pugh, a student at William Carey College. Fong, a Pulitizer Prize jurist and a keynote speaker at the Baptist Press Student Journalism Conference, spent one-on-one time working with the young photographers.
