2017 SBC Pastors' Conf. issues financial reportPHOENIX (BP) -- In what may be the Southern Baptist Convention Pastors' Conference's first public financial report, 2017 conference president Dave Miller noted expenditures of just over $400,000 for the Phoenix gathering plus an additional $100,000 provided by the Cooperative Program to help pay for meeting space.

Survey seeks qualities of effective DOMsMCDONOUGH, Ga. (BP) -- Opinions of leaders and servants in all areas of Southern Baptist life are solicited in an online survey studying the qualities of effective leadership by directors of missions (DOMs).
The Southern Baptist Conference of Associational Leaders (SBCAL) appointed a study group to conduct the survey to provide a uniform job title and description for the DOM position.
