    CHARLOTTE, N.C. (BP) -- Sermons from Billy Graham's prolific international ministry will be broadcast on an ad hoc radio station 12 days surrounding the evangelist's 99th birthday (Nov. 7), the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) has announced.

    BGEA will host the Billy Graham Channel today (Nov. 6) through Nov. 17 as channel 145 on SiriusXM Radio, featuring sermons from Graham's six decades of evangelism, as well as salvation invitations and reflections from family and friends, BGEA said.     CHARLOTTE, N.C. (BP) -- It’s not often an evangelist with the following of Billy Graham’s son Franklin hosts Gospel events in communities as small as Jackson, Tenn., home to about 68,000 people.

    Fresh from the success of the 2016 Decision America Tour that drew a total of 230,000 people to prayer rallies in all 50 states, Franklin Graham is focusing on small and medium-sized towns in Tennessee in May as he continues his national call to prayer. Read More

    NASHVILLE (BP) -- Frank S. Page developed a respect for Billy (Jang Hwan) Kim when he saw Kim translating a Billy Graham sermon televised during the 1973 Graham crusade in Seoul, South Korea.

    Page, president of the Southern Baptist Convention Executive Committee, recalled the moment more than 40 years later as Kim spoke at the May 4 weekly prayer gathering at the SBC Executive Committee Nashville headquarters. Read More

  • Church uses 'Heaven' DVD to bring in 'sheaves'

    FORT WAYNE, Ind. (BP) -- Each of the 4,200 homes in neighborhoods surrounding Waynedale Baptist Church is visited by a member of the congregation at least twice a year, an outreach dear to pastor Wayne Gullion.

    This spring, the church is distributing a total of 4,000 copies of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association's (BGEA) Heaven DVD door-to-door on alternating Saturdays through May 9, Gullion told Baptist Press. He likens the outreach in Fort Wayne, Ind., to the scriptural harvest of sheaves referenced in Psalm 126:6 (KJV). Read More
