'Porn and the Pastor' e-book: Joint SBTS/TGC releaseLOUISVILLE, Ky. (BP) -- A free e-book, "Porn and the Pastor: The Life and Death Consequences of Addiction in Ministry," has been published jointly by Southern Equip, a resource center for pastors from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and The Gospel Coalition, a fellowship of churches in the Reformed tradition.

MLK50 in Memphis to seek 'repentance and unity'MEMPHIS (BP) -- More than 3,600 registrants plan to gather in Memphis to pursue racial unity on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the assassination of civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr.
The Southern Baptist Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission (ERLC) and The Gospel Coalition (TGC) will co-host the event -- "MLK50: Gospel Reflections From the Mountaintop" -- at the Memphis Convention Center half a century after King's slaying on April 4, 1968, in the Tennessee city. The April 3-4 conference's goal is to consider the state of racial unity in the American church and culture, as well as to examine what is required to achieve solidarity amid the country's ongoing division. 'MLK50' conf. set on anniversary of King's deathNASHVILLE (BP) -- A racial unity conference on the 50th anniversary of the assassination of civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. has been announced by the Southern Baptist Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission and The Gospel Coalition.
The event -- "MLK50: Gospel Reflections From the Mountaintop" -- will be held April 4, 2018, in Memphis, half a century to the date of King's slaying in the city.
