    TACOMA, Wash. (BP) -- An uncontested third-ballot election for president of the Council of Korean Southern Baptist Churches in America was among 35th annual meeting highlights in Tacoma, Wash.

    The four-day gathering, attended by 600 messengers and 100 children, was held at Tacoma First Baptist Church, a Korean congregation that is the largest church in the Northwest Baptist Convention of Washington, Oregon and northern Idaho. About 2,000 people gather for Sunday worship at Tacoma First.

    "Our pastor wants to serve our Korean Southern Baptist pastors," said Paul Yoo, associate pastor for seniors. "All church members, same mind, same heart." Read More
