    DALLAS (BP) -- The Southern Baptist Convention's current condition and how churches should engage politics were topics of conversation at this year's 9Marks evening events, June 11-12, in Dallas.

    Mark Dever moderated both 9Marks events, hosted with Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Dever is the senior pastor of Capitol Hill Baptist Church in Washington, D.C., and president of 9Marks, an organization dedicated to helping foster church health.     PHOENIX (BP) -- Pastors and entity leaders discussed church unity in a divisive age and the statistical decline of the denomination during two 9Marks conversations held in conjunction with the Southern Baptist Convention's annual meeting in Phoenix.

    ST. LOUIS (BP) -- The "moral formation" and unity of the church are two vital considerations for a pastor in guiding God's people during a disturbing presidential election season, attendees were told at the first of two 9Marks panel discussions held in conjunction with the Southern Baptist Convention's annual meeting in St. Louis.

    SBC entity heads and a pastor assessed the convention and its proceedings during a second 9Marks discussion the following evening.     COLUMBUS, Ohio (BP) -- Southern Baptist leaders discussed how the church can engage culture and align itself with biblical practices at two 9Marks panels in Columbus, Ohio.
