‘Building a Foundation’ to be MBTS luncheon theme


GREENSBORO, N.C. (BP)–Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary will host its annual alumni luncheon at noon Wednesday, June 14, during the Southern Baptist Convention annual meeting in Greensboro, N.C.

This year’s theme is “Building a Foundation.” The program will feature testimonials from MBTS alumni; a report by President R. Philip Roberts on recent developments at the seminary; and a challenge to attendees by MBTS’ national alumni president, David Tolliver.

The luncheon will be in Guilford Ballroom C on the first floor of the Sheraton Greensboro Hotel at Four Seasons, 3121 High Point Road, 1.5 miles southwest of the Greensboro Coliseum complex.

Reservations are required by Friday June 2, and can be made by contacting Midwestern’s institutional advancement office either by phone (877-414-3720 toll-free) or email ([email protected]). Reserved tickets can be picked up at the Midwestern’s exhibit hall booth on Tuesday, June 13, during the convention.

The first 100 reservations received from Midwestern alumni will receive their luncheon tickets at no charge. Note: two free tickets maximum per family; additional luncheon tickets are $23 each. Please include complete names of all attendees and contact information with your reservation.
