WHERE IS THE BUS TOUR TODAY? New Jersey & New York

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (BP)–“The Everyone Can Kingdom Challenge for Evangelism” national bus tour by Southern Baptist Convention President Bobby Welch focused on two more northeastern states Friday, Sept. 3, with stops slated in New Jersey and New York.

The schedule included stops at 10 a.m. at Madison Baptist Church in Madison, N.J., and 6 p.m. at Bronx Baptist Church in New York.

That follows stops Sept 2 in three New England states: Maine Street Baptist Church in Brunswick, Maine; Christian Fellowship Baptist Church in Londonderry, N.H.; and Macedonia Baptist Church in Plainfield, Vt.

No stops are scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 4, although three stops are scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 5: 9 a.m. at Ezekiel Baptist Church in Philadelphia; 1:30 p.m. at Bethany Baptist Church in Wilmington, Del., and 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Rockville, Md.

The bus tour was launched Aug. 29 at Welch’s home church in Florida.

Welch conceived of a national bus tour rally as a means of generating a sense of urgency about evangelism among Southern Baptists. The bus tour is a kickoff for “The Everyone Can Kingdom Challenge for Evangelism” campaign which has the goal of “Witness, Win and Baptize … ONE MILLION!” in one year.
